New Blog from David!!!

Archies! David just wrote a new blog and if you haven't yet checked it out, you can read it below. Or maybe, if you want it more special, you could also visit there right in his site @davidarchuleta.com to read it. haha. Now here it goes...

Helloo to everyone from Nashville. It's been a while since I've written a blog, so I thought it'd be a good week to write one.

I've had a really great past couple of weeks! I've been on the first leg of a radio promo tour, and it's been great visiting all the different radio stations and getting to perform again! I started in Greenville, South Carolina for B93.7's Zoo-A-Palooza to help raise money for the local Greenville Zoo there. I then went to Louisville, Kentucky where I got to do a show for WDJX with other performers like We The Kings, Hot Chelle Rae, Iyaz, and Kris Allen as the host. It was really fun hanging with everyone there. We then made stops at 106.3 in Lexington, Q102 in Cincinnati, WNCI in Columbus, and Q102 in Philly. It's fun getting to go to all of the different radio stations! We also went to PRO FM in Rhode Island, which is always great going over to see them! After that we went to Sixflags New England for a show with KC 101 where Auburn, Boys Like Girls, Flo Rida, and Bruno Mars performed at too. I must admit that I'm a pretty big fan of Bruno Mars's stuff. He has an awesome voice. I'm sure you guys know his new song Just the Way You Are, but if you haven't then you should really check it out.

After all the radio promo, it was time to go to New York for Arthur Ashe Kids' Day where Shontelle, Allstar Weekend, Demi Lovato, and Jonas Brothers also performed. It was really fun. It was cool meeting Allstar Weekend and hanging with them, and then seeing Shontelle and Demi again. I didn't really get to say much to the Jonas Brothers, but I did catch a bit of their soundcheck. It was cool getting to sing "Something 'Bout Love" for the first time live.. period.. lol, then also first time live on TV both acoustically on Good Day NY and then with the energy of the band on AAKD. Hope you guys have been enjoying the performances! It's also been fun getting to introduce another new song from the album called "Elevator" that I first sang in Greenville. It's one of my favorite songs on the album and I feel is a good representation of what else you'll be getting from the album :). More of the David vibe haha.

So... we've been getting things wrapped up with the album The Other Side of Down!! It's been pretty crazy trying to get everything finalized but we're pretty much finished and have done all we can under the amount of time that there was to work with haha. I'm really excited! We're a little over a month away from it coming out October 5th, and I'm already starting to feel the anxious and the jitters. I really hope all the work this last year pays off though for all of you! Anyway I am going to end for today, and talk to you guys later!

Songs for the day: Just the Way You Are - Bruno Mars

Misty - Ella Fitzgerald

This song has really been growing on me lately for some reason. Ella is incredible.

(END)

Wow! As we all know, he's really been pretty much busy. And after reading this blog, I just can't believe I missed a bit from the things he's been up to in the past few days/weeks. Didn't know about the WDJX show he's gotten to do with Kris Allen and other performers. Also, from the radio stations he's gone to, all I know was the one at 106.3 in Lexington. Good thing though that right after those, I've known of the succeeding events like the one at Six Flags New England, and of course, at Arthur Ashe Kids' Day.

Ahh, now I just realized that you can't really keep up everything a person does no matter how much you say you're into that person; most especially in this case, David is from the States and I'm way far from there! lol. But heck yeah, I'm still trying and I'm happy for what I do. It's always been so cool having to write in here every time I would know some new updates and other stuff about him. Feels like my day's complete! haha

Okay, I think I'll end it here. Byeeee! :)

David at Arthur Ashe Kids' Day

Before anything else, here's a short interview of David on Fox and Friends about what's up with him later on that day, which of course, performing at the said event.

So hey, another recent performances from David! He sang Something 'Bout Love and Crush at the Arthur Ashe Kids' Day held on August 28th. Just watch the videos below. Much credit to @mjsbigblog on twitter for the links including the video above. Okay, enjoy! :))

Live chat with David!

So after the performances at Six Flags, David also had a live chat at Connecticut's KC101.3 on August 27th. Too bad I didn't get to join in 'cause it's about 3am in here when it was on in there. I tried waking up that early but I didn't. Instead, it's almost about 3pm here when I went online. So then I just searched for it and of course, found a video of the live chat. Much thanks to @KC1013 on twitter! :)) Here's the video...

Woo hoo! Now that he mentioned it as one of his favorites from the new album, I really can't wait to hear that track which has the same title as the album, "The Other Side of Down." I'm kind of imagining the lyrics right now actually. lol. Ahh, I hope he'll soon sing it on his next gigs! I'm sure lots of Archies (including me) would freak out again for hearing another new song! haha

All right! That's it. Talk to you later. :))

David at Six Flags New England

Wow! There's really lots of stuffs going on with our David recently. First, the one in Greenville, SC; the 106.3 WCDA Lexington interview; his appearance at Tosh.0; the one at Good Day New York; and now at this Six Flags New England held on August 27th . Later on he'll have a live chat on KC101.3 fm. And of course, the following day he'll also be at the Arthur Ashe Kids' Day. Whew! What a busy schedule! :))

Anyway, here are the videos of David performing four songs in this event: Elevator, Something 'Bout Love, Crush, and Touch My Hand. Credit to djbell13 on YouTube! Okay, enjoy!!! :))

David on Good Day New York!

David was on Good Day New York last August 26th. Sorry if I updated quite late. Been a bit busy on that day though I'm pretty not sure what exactly was the time in here when he was on that show. lol. Anyway, I found a video for it posted by @rickey on twitter. Thanks Rickey! :) Here's it...

Here are also some photos I saw. Credit to all the original owners.

David on Tosh.0

Hey guys, just saw this video as I went home and go online. And to tell you what, I honestly didn't know exactly what this thing's all about. David's head on a box? o.O Also, I really didn't get the part where another guy said something about a pregnant girl. At first I thought it was funny. But now I'm really not sure. Just watch it and see for yourself. :)

There you go. What do you think? For me, I didn't quite comprehend at first why David's head was inside that box, and also the 'preggy' thing I was talking about. But when I found out and watched a full version of that video, I finally got the whole story. I think all were really just for fun, like what other comedy shows do, right? So maybe we just gotta commend David for being able to put the humor up. It's just another one of the things other people wouldn't expect him to do. Anyway, here's the full version video...

106.3 WCDA Lexington Interview - Aug. 23, 2010

Didn't get to listen to this radio interview yesterday but as expected, there would be some people who would upload it. And what's more amazing is that they have a video version for it! So cool! Thanks so much to apmvp05 on YouTube who uploaded the whole interview into five parts! :))

B93.7 Zoo-A-Palooza in Greenville, S.C. - August 21, 2010

Heya Archies! So our dear David did perform in the B93.7 Zoo-A-Palooza in Greenville, S.C. on August 21, 2010. And heck yeah, I'm still not over with the new song he sang from the new album. It's called "Elevator." He also sang an acoustic version of "Something 'Bout Love" and another solid version of "Crazy." I'm not quite sure if he also sang "Crush" and some other songs 'cause I didn't get to see those from the videos I've watched. Anyway, of course I would like to share with you those I've watched. That's the main point of this post, you know. lol

Okay, here they are. Thanks so much to fellow Archies who uploaded them. You guys are amazing! Keep it up! :))

"SOMETHING 'BOUT LOVE" (acoustic version! )

"CRAZY" (just another crazily terrific version! lol )

"ELEVATOR" (new song from 2010 album )

P.S. Here's a partial lyrics of this new song, in case you want a copy now and sing along with David! heh:)

*ELEVATOR*

[Whoa oh oh oh]
I had a dream last night
I didn’t know which floor to get up on
The doors they opened on, 4 and 5 and 6
And you were gone, all gone
I didn’t wanna know
I didn’t understand
At least I took a chance
I had to let it go

Elevator goes up
Elevator come down
And you just go with the flow
‘Til your feet are back on the ground
It’s an endless ride
Sometimes it takes a while
Sometimes it tears you down inside
But it’s the butterflies
That keep you feeling so alive, so alive
You gotta get back that high

And in my dream last night
The doors, they finally shut and I was there, somewhere
Alone in my reality
Inside an empty box that’s filled with air
But I don’t care, no
Next time, I’ll get a ride
Next time, I’ll be okay
I’ll have a different dream tonight
Tomorrow’s another day

Elevator goes up
Elevator come down
And you just go with the flow
‘Til your feet are back on the ground
It’s an endless ride
Sometimes it takes a while
Sometimes it tears you down inside
But it’s the butterflies
That keep you feeling so alive, so alive
You gotta get back that high

You'll never know
What you’re gonna get
What you don’t expect
Can come and find you
If you laugh or cry
You run and hide
But it’s alright

Elevator goes up
Elevator come down
And you just go with the flow
‘Til your feet are back on the ground
It’s an endless ride
Sometimes it takes a while
Sometimes it tears you down inside
But it’s the butterflies
That keep you feeling so alive, so alive
You gotta get back that high

Hiiiiiigggghhhhhhh... (something like that! lol)

So alive, so alive
You gotta get back that high...

New Vlog from David!

Finally, another Vlog from our David! He surely had been busy doing some finishing touch for the album! They say (or he says actually, lol) that there's so much of his personality in this album so it's really getting more and more exciting how it would be when it comes out.

Anyway, in this Vlog, he mentioned about the official album cover which I also talked about in my previous post. For me it's simply nice! Already loved it when I saw the first versions. And again, that alone really shows his personality, isn't? So much of a grown up already! haha

Okay, so here's the link and the video itself. Enjoy!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ve7kVONiQVg

Yay! It's sooo cool how he could always put that smile in his face! And I really love the last part, the lovely day thing! Cute stuff singing along with that cool song while in the middle of a Vlog! lol.

And by the way, so he's going to some places and might be singing another new songs from the album! That's way cool! I hope I could get a glimpse too from some sites then! lol.

All right! That's it for now. Have a good day!

Teen Choice Awards 2010

Woo hoo! So the TCAs has finally come. David won only the American Idol Alum award but that's fine with me. Still proud of him! And I'm really okay with the fact that Twilight won the other category he's nominated for. For me, that's better than the kid winning it. LOL. Peace man! :D

Okay, let me just post some cool videos starring our very own David at the TCAs 2010!!!

First Video: David at the TCAs Blue Carpet. Nice start!

Oh David, what a humble guy! Thanks for feeling like blessed to have us your fans. Thanks also for the way you think about us, that we're like real go-getters instead of fanatical fans. That's so nice of you! And oh yes, we'll always be very supportive and respectful! That's the trademark of every Arch Angel, right? heh:)

Second Video: Ahhh! Still can't get over with this one. It's crazy, so funny and everything! Here's a clue why: watch out for every word/phrase/sentence that David was saying and I'm telling you, there's one in there that's totally not like him!!! But that's the most interesting part actually. haha. See for yourself!

Whew! How's that second video? A whole lot fun, isn't? And really, it's so hard to get over with him saying "They're too intimidated by YOUR AND MY BODIES, so let's see who they chose for Teen Choice HOTTIES." Oh gosh, can't stop laughing with that one! What a remarkable moment of him trying to rap! LOL. And by the way, it was also said in there that he's 5'6"? Oh man, why's it I haven't known of that till now?! But anyway, that's awesome! I'm about 5'4"! So close! And another thing, so he's about 140 lbs.? Oh heck, I don't remember mine! But maybe it's a bit close too to his! LOL

Now here's the last video I've seen so far, a little interview with David while holding the surfboard he won! haha. Cute!

So that ends our TCAs 2010: David Archuleta video marathon! Let's see if I'll find other videos soon. I'll definitely share everything else I'll find out. heh:)

Talk to you later! ^_^

Random Funny Moments...

Hey, this is just random. As I was watching on a Youtube video with David on it, there were so many related videos to watch out too. And heck yeah, I found one which was really cool! Gotta commend the owner for having to compile all these funny moments of David. haha. So here, just watch it:

So hey, of course I wanna share it with you guys. Here's the original video posted on David's Vevo Channel on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/user/davidarchuletaVEVO

SBL music video???

WOOT! This one's urgent. So I found out the moment I signed in to twitter that the music video for SBL would be premiering tomorrow on Vevo! Too bad I'm sure that it won't be available internationally. I've experienced one time when I was trying to watch a video from Vevo, it didn't let me to do so.

Well anyway, I hope there would be some other good links to watch on soon. There would be for sure in the end, right? haha. I'll post a link soon as I find a good one. So stay with me!

Okay. Gotta go.
Talk to you later!

Arthur Ashe Kid's Day!

Hey guys, this would be short. Just wanted to let you know that David will be at Arthur Ashe Kid's Day on August 28th in NYC at the US Open!

Just check out this link for more details:
http://www.usopen.org/kids/ArthurAsheKidsDay

Thanks!

But before this event, we'll first see David in the Teen Choice Awards next week! Let's all hope he wins his nominations! He deserve them, right?

Okay. That's it for now.
Bye!

Sunday, August 1, 2010

Woo hoo! It's my 18th birthday!

Hey Archies! Today's already August 1st in here and it's my 18th birthday! I didn't anymore try getting David to greet me via twitter since I know he won't in the end. But I don't mean that in a negative way. I'm just saying it really just have to be like that for a reason.

Anyway, it's my birthday, right? So allow me to share something which was a bit awkward for me to do but kind of fun though. haha. What am I talking about? Well...

I took some pictures of me and my Archie stuffs! LOL Yeah, that's right! I know I'm not good at posing for pictures but I still did! I don't know exactly what I was thinking then, but really, I had fun! So there, just don't mind much about how I look okay? It's still my birthday anyway, so just give me that one. haha.

Thanks so much!

Here they are:

P.S.
Hey, I almost forgot to mention but I certainly did not forget the fact that today is also the 2nd anniversary of David's first-ever single "Crush." Whoa! Imagine that, it's already been two years but I'm still hooked to it. And I always will be, like to all his other songs! That's how sincere I am okay? LOL

All right! That's all for my birthday! Wish me a good one! :))
