New Albany Classic (09-26-10)

David recently performed at the New Albany Classic in Columbus, Ohio and he's had a set list of nine songs: Something 'Bout Love, Stomping the Roses, A Little Too Not Over You, The Other Side of Down, My Kind of Perfect, Elevator, Falling Stars, Zero Gravity, and Crush.

Majority of these songs are included in his upcoming album, "The Other Side of Down" which is to be released in just a week more waiting and I know everyone's excited, right? And by the way, three songs from the set list were also debut performances of David and they were all really great! Here are some videos. First up are the three debut performances: My Kind of Perfect, The Other Side of Down, and Stomping the Roses. Then the rest follows. TOSOD snippets ♥♥♥

Hey, I'm pretty sure many of you have listened to the TOSOD snippets on Amazon already, right? And OMD! (that's Oh My David! lol) All of 'em are soooo awesome! Gotta love 'em all so much! But I have to say that right now, I'm like mostly obsessed with half of them namely "The Other Side of Down, Stomping the Roses, Who I am, Falling Stars, Good Place, and Complain." Can't get enough of 'em! I really wanna hear their full versions now, as in right now, especially the last two I mentioned! lol

Anyway, Oct. 5th is almost coming and that's just a bit more waiting now. I just hope I could really buy a copy of the album myself this time 'cause I never did in his previous albums. Both were just gifted to me, plus his memoir "Chords of Strength." Poor me! haha

Now, to end this up here's a video for all the snippets. Credit to totoroarchie! :))

Pink Ribbon Performance

This might be late, but I still wanna update it in here. heh:) So yeah, David has performed for Channel 693’s “Pink Ribbon Performance” at the Hartman Arena in Wichita, Kansas on Sept. 23rd. This was for the benefit of Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation. There were also other performers like Natasha Bedingfield, Bruno Mars, Iyaz, 2AM Club and The Ready Set.

Here are some videos, including "Falling Stars" which we all know a song from the new album. Yippee! haha

Credit to YouCanCallMeTina! :)

P.S. Hey, there's also an interview I saw which was posted quite late, so at least it's a good thing I wrote this one just now too. lol. Here's it:

Another video which is the third one now so far. Here we heard two new songs "Who I am" and "Falling Stars," both of which were really nice. So excited for the full versions! But yeah, not to hurry. Oct. 5th is almost coming, right? :D

Anyway, below are two other videos I found on YouTube which are the two songs themselves. It's always cool to recap the songs newly heard, you know! lol. Credit to x0mGiLuVDaViDAx for both of them. :))

David responds to his messages (part 2)

Source: davidarchuleta.com

OMG! He composed and sang a song "on-the-spot" for two lucky fans! Just how cool was that? Oh dear, it's way beyond cool! :))

Anyway, I totally agree with the gals. We all love his smile like it's the most beautiful one in the whole world! So keep smiling, Archie! ^___________^

TOSOD album preview (part 2)

Two more songs previewed in this video from David's official site @davidarchuleta.com One which we already know "Something 'Bout Love" and the other one's called "Stomping the Roses" which is just new to us, right? Well, it's an interesting song for me. Just listen to the preview and see for yourself. :))

So what do you think? Hm, here's another video which has only the new song in it, in case you wanna hear it again. Credit to grapeexmagoo on YouTube!

P.S. Here's a partial lyrics of the previewed part of this new song which I did merely by listening closely to it myself lol. But I also checked out other people's version if they had too, just to be sure. Thanks there's one I found, courtesy of archangel4life4ever on YouTube! :)

Wasting time just going mindless
Watching your charades
When you were younger
Did it occur to you,
Ten years from then
You'd act the same age?
I cannot carry on this way
Although I carried all your every little thing
Carry me away...
Did you feel like stomping the roses?

Delta Fair Memphis, TN

Last update for now. Imagine that, three in a row. But I know it's not really a big deal, thanks to all my reliable sources! haha. OK! So yes, of course what I'll be posting in here are the videos of David's performances at the Delta Fair. Much thanks to YouCanCallMeTina on YouTube!

Wow! Eight songs all in all! Waaaayyyy cool, all of 'em! No need to tell how each of 'em is. But I just wanna commend more to his performance of "Somebody Out There." For me it really showed how great a performer he is, being able to do that in times of technical problems; plus the fact that it still sounded amazing though he wasn't really planning to sing it that time. Thanks also to his guitarist (what's his name again?) for coming up with an instant impromptu song, and yes, for being with him here and again whenever he performs. He's such a great guy! :)

And to finish this up, I just wanna say that David's really nice and sweet! He didn't want the audience to somehow get bored on waiting. So David, thank goodness you're who you are! We go-getters are very much proud of you! heh:))

Fred the Movie Premiere

What to say? These pictures speak it all lol. Just kidding. So hey, David and Jennette were both in the premiere of this movie on Sept. 11th. And here's also an interview of David I found on YouTube (credit to clevverTV).

Stand Up To Cancer :)

Been pretty busy again that I wasn't able to update earlier. So anyway, David has been in the Stand Up To Cancer telethon on Sept. 10th and helped raise money for cancer research. Here's a video of him (credit to totoarchie) and some photos (credit to David Daily).

David responds to his messages! (part 1)

Wee! David spent some time responding to what fans have to say. Call his Mobile Hotline at 801-386-8196 now! Yeah right, how I wish I could too but that's way impossible, you know, for US outsiders like me. But it's okay, really. heh:) So here's the video from his official site @davidarchuleta.com

"The Other Side of Down" Preview (part 1)

Woo hoo! So I just saw this first preview on David's site and I thought of sharing it in here. So yeah, enjoy Archies! :))

Here's another version of the TOSOD preview on YouTube, just the song itself. Oh man, you gotta love it! It's really a cool song! Can't wait for the full version! :))

Here's the partial lyrics of the previewed part of the song courtesy of grapeexmagoo on YouTube! lol

In a world that's spinning
But somehow it knocked me off my feet
But I know better than to let it get the best of me
I could give up, I could stay stuck, I could move on
So I put one foot in front of the other
No, no, no, nothing's gonna break my stride
I keep climbing, gonna keep fighting
Until I make it to the other side

P.S. As for Elevator (another song), well I'm sure you heard of it already, right? I suppose you even heard the full studio version which was first previewed on 92 PRO-FM. And obviously, yes, it's on my playlist in here too! So there's no way you haven't heard of it yet! haha. Okay, that's it for now. Byeee! :)

2010 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon

So hey, another new update. David just performed in the MDA telethon on Sept. 5th. He sang "Things Are Gonna Get Better" which is another new song from the album. It's really inspirational for me. We all know how great David is when it comes to this kind of songs. Remember the first time we watched him perform "Imagine" on Idol? Come on tell me, didn't it hit you? He could really connect to people like directly singing the song to them. I believe this really is one special reason, among many others, why we Archies love him. And in all honesty, I personally wasn't that very particular in getting to know the meaning of songs before. But ever since I've known about this guy, I swear it totally changed me! And for me it's such a blessing! So a whole lot of thanks to you, David! I really appreciate how you've become so much of an inspiration to me. And I know that's what driving you most in your music - to inspire people. So now let me tell you that you're really such an inspiration! God bless you more! heh:)

Okay, sorry for the rambling. Now going back to our topic, here are some videos courtesy of MySpaceMDA on YouTube. Thanks for uploading them! :))

ELEVATOR goes up, ELEVATOR come down...

Yesterday I heard the studio version of David's about to be 2nd single called Elevator. I was like totally wow! I already loved it when he first introduced it in the Zoo-a-Palooza show in Greenville, SC and now I'm even more loving this studio version! It's really cool! I think he really enjoyed recording this one 'cause I really feel it every time I would listen to it! haha. So here's a video of it with lyrics. Enjoy! :))

Orla Fallon Celtic Christmas Special

Aww! I forgot I haven't yet posted about this PBS Christmas Special in Nashville. Good thing though because I wasn't able to find much info about it other than it was taped at the Polk Theatre at TPAC on Thursday, September 2 at 7:30 p.m.

No wait, I actually found an article talking about it. So yeah, just click here to read it too. Also, here are some photos I saw from the same site. :)

Events/shows that I've missed (part 2)

Finally, found some videos for David's visit at Q102 in Philadelphia last August 24th. As for the one in Cincinnati, still didn't find any. Maybe we just gotta be contented with the pics? lol. Ah, but I'll still wait (again! haha) and see if they will upload some videos too. I'll just post them immediately in here then. But now here are those videos at Q1o2 in Philly.

Events/shows that I've missed (part 1)

Yay! I'm such an Archu-Nerd trying to find my way to see all those events/shows I've missed that David had been to over the past few weeks. From his latest blog, there are five which I haven't yet seen and they are the ones in Louisville, Kentucky; Q102 in Cincinnati; WNCI 97.9 FM in Columbus, Ohio; Q102 in Philly; and 92 PRO-FM in Rhode Island.

So far I found just three of them that have videos for David's performances. The others only have pictures or maybe they just, you know, didn't upload yet the videos. Let's just hope I'll soon find more of these videos and when I do, I would definitely post them in here too! But if not, perhaps I'll just go post the pics? haha. So for now, here are some videos from those three shows - at Louisville, Kentucky; WNCI 97.9 FM in Columbus, Ohio; and 92 PRO-FM in Rhode Island. Enjoy! :))
